The BYSA family would like to extend a very warm welcome to Dillon Lennox as our new Operations Manager.
As well, we wish to extend our deepest gratitude to Angie Williams (Burch), out-going President of BYSA, board member and coach for as long as anyone can remember. Angie your inspiring contribution to the kids of the Boundary for all these years has been amazing and impact-full, many thanks.
With Dillon now in place and diving headfirst into the learning curve we are ready to offer a Spring Season of soccer for all of our Boundary kids ages 3-13 as of Dec 31 2021.
With that we also hope to offer the 14-17 age group a team that would play in the Kootenay Rockies Youth Soccer Association (KRYSA), more to come on that….
…and Yes there will be a Fall Soccer program….
This is so exciting on many fronts: firstly having the dedication of Dillon to see things through, second we can now, because we are outside, play and practice as we did in the good old days…no restrictions, just good, old, soccer fun for everyone!!
So, what’s next?
Registration: Open till March 31st. $135 for U7-U14, (ages 5-13 as of Dec 31st 2021). U17 Development is $45 and Kicks for Kids (K4K) is free for kids age 3 & 4 as of Dec 31st 2021, so when registering please choose the appropriate link.
As well, please note that we are running tight timelines here and teams will be being built pretty much as players register. BYSA recognizes that kids like to be with friends and play close to home, and mostly we can accommodate that as best we can, so players registering late will habitually be placed on teams to fill rosters.
COACHES: Yes, we need coaches!! Experienced or not, your volunteering to coach will be what makes our program work. NO Coach NO team – it’s that simple. Click HERE to volunteer for this fun and important role.
Board: BYSA could use a few more good folks to sit on our Board, as it stands we are pretty thin and having a more diverse group only makes us stronger. Please contact us for more info.
Important dates: can be viewed on our Calendar page, please stay tuned as more info be sent out as we progress here.
BYSA uses E-mail as it’s Primary form of communication. Often though, these days, e-mails get sent to trash or spam folders and people fail to receive them. Please check your email settings and check your sub-folders to ensure you get all the info you need in a timely way.
