Dear players, coaches, families, and community members,
First off, thank you for your patience with regards to the fall season. It has been a trying
summer following wrap-up of the spring soccer season. The BYSA Board has been working
hard to make sure everything has been put to rights, and we can now say with certainty
that we are back on track. This has entailed a parting of ways with staff, a revamping of
bylaws and procedure, and the retirement of two board members. Well, almost back on
track. We are missing one crucial piece of the operation, a candidate to fill the role of
Operations Manager.
This is not a position we take lightly, and as time grows closer to the fall season, we are
feeling the pressure to decide quickly. We will not. It is so important that our candidate be a
great fit for our organization, and so we are focused on obtaining and retaining the right
person for the job. However, this takes time, and to accomplish everything between now
and the beginning of the fall season would be a rushed and flawed process.
In short, the BYSA Board has decided to postpone the fall season. We want the next steps
to be sure and stable ones, and this requires time and thoroughness. We continue to work
hard behind the scenes and are looking forward to presenting a cohesive and robust
association to you in the spring.
If you feel like you can offer something to the organization, we are always looking to grow
our dedicated and proactive team. Feel free to reach out
to pres@boundaryyouthsoccer.com to reach me directly. More details will be shared as they
unfold.

Be well,
Ryan MacGregor
President, Boundary Youth Soccer Association
On behalf of the BYSA board of Directors
